Matcha Latte with Almond Milk

Simple and delicious Matcha latte with almond milk. The recipe is followed to the method of traditional Japanese Matcha green tea. It helps to get a fresh start of a day.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup (250ml) unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  • Place Matcha green tea powder and the maple syrup in a mug.
  • Whisk vigorously with a metal whisk or a spoon until smooth paste without any lumps.
  • Heat up the almond milk in a pan or microwave until just before boiling.
  • Add the heated almond milk and gently mix with the Matcha paste on the bottom.
  • Optionally, dust some Matcha green tea powder.
