Taiwanese Mango Shaved Ice (Mango Kakigori)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced fresh / frozen mango
  • 1 cup (250 ml) whole milk
  • 3 tbsp white sugar I used granulated sugar.

Topping

  • 2 fresh mangoes

Instructions

  • Place the diced frozen / fresh mangoes, the milk and the sugar in a food processor / blender and process until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture into ice-cube trays or specific containers of your shaved ice machine and freeze overnight until completely solid.
  • Cut the fresh mangoes into dice and set aside in the fridge.
  • Place a serving bowl under the shaved ice machine and put the mango ice into the machine. Then quickly process until the shaved ice look like a mountain.
  • Top the shaved ice with the diced fresh mangoes and serve immediately.
